TAWNY PORT is the perfect colour for November!

And here in Lisbon is still pretty #HOTUMN ...

TAWNY + PORT
BRUNO FULVO || PORTO
Aged tawny ports are wines made from red grapes that are aged in wooden barrels
exposing them to gradual oxidation and evaporation.
As a result of this oxidation, they gradually mellow to a golden-brown colour.

Ciao MOOD ers!!

Another month together and one more month from here, in Portugal...

We talk about colours and interiors here, but nothing comes random in this life, so let me share one more story...

First, I want to tell you that surfing is the best therapy in life, forget about terapist and yoga, if you're like me and you need action and challenges in life, there's nothing better than being in the waves, you, your board and that adrenaline given by the "I can do it!", accepting that most of the times it will end up rolling in the water.

Progresses come almost by chance. It's all about observation, acceptance and understanding. Little by little I am creating my little alliance with the ocean, measuring my confidence, listening at the rhythm, adapting to the timing.

The biggest achievement of the last weeks is that I'm over the initial rush and energy waisting attitude, little by little the ocean has given me the pace, I walk in the water and I follow the flow of waves, the moment of calm, waiting the right place and time to catch my wave.

At some point, something new happens, and that's the new step of my improvement. I have to be careful, observant, confident with my level, to notice that I can explore something new, could be about the position on the board, or the timing to catch the wave. It's all about patience, perception and feelings, something that couldn't have been possible to think about, all of a sudden becomes the next goal.

This is what I'm learning everyday, in and outside the water, when I'm trying to speak a new language, when I put my self in a new situation, careful about my reaction, my instinct.

In Lisbon every morning I wake up, I take my 15 minutes for a short meditation still in an on/off MOOD, I open the window ready to start the day as a new adventure, a new opportunity to explore myself, testing actions and reactions. Things I would have never been able to think about, suddenly look like a natural consequence, a spontaneus next step.

So why Tawny Port?

"When a port is described as tawny, without an indication of age,
it is a basic blend of wood aged port that has spent time in wooden barrel"

Tawny port is a strong wine, old and wise. This colour is resolute, confident and perfect to give and extra strength to you and you home.

HAPPY NOVEMBER ! !
