Remind me a second,

why everyone wants to be a digital nomad?

 or

location independent
[or whatever that's called]

But first, how come that I am 31 and I am still randomly floating around?

[ PERSONAL DIARY MOMENT ]

Yesterday I had the final break up with my Portuguese no-boyfriend, Filipe, one of those last conversations needed to leave my brain in peace and ready to move on. It's so hard to understand people and no matter how hard we try, the only way to avoid misunderstanding is always being honest, all the unsaid can be misinterpretated in good and in bad.

Long story short, in this occasion, I so wanted to be with him and his smile that I didn't [ or didn't want to ] read the 'I'm not interested' line.

Anyways, heartbroken a part, I was so lucky to meet my friends in a cosy coffee shop straight after and have all their support, together with a great french hot chocolate.

But, relationships are not the only down side of an unsettled and nomadic life like mine...

HOME IS A BIG DEAL !

It's not something I am constantly thinking about, but after years jumping from a house to the next [which comes up to about 20 in the last 5 years] I have moments I would really love to feel more steady and cosy, in a small beautiful house curated and decorated with my MOOD and all the little things I collected during the last years, also thanks to this blog of mine.

I've started thinking about it the other day, when I opened the door and the guy delivered to me the box from PHOTOWALL I was waiting for.

Inside, the best wallpaper I've recently touched: awesome print, great texture and the instructions to follow to set it on the wall, and then a question:

Why should I glue it to these walls
I'm not sure how long they're going to be my house,
but definetly not too long

?

I don't know if I mentioned before but, here in Lisbon, I am currently sharing the house with 4 buddies, it's called "casa do povo" [literally: house of the people], has been the shared flat of a bunch of engeneering students for the last 10 years and we still have big posters of underwear models hanged on the walls in the common areas.

Yes, definetely not the house you would invite a new collaborator to talk about how a great designer and creative director you are! [or invite a boy for dinner ... ]

So, after a good hour dreaming of how nice would have been to re-arrange the house with new decorations, I woke up from my dreams and opted for saving this beautiful gift for a future project, for my future and that little house with the garden that one day will be mine.

Where, I still have to decide

...
Maybe in Australia
...

Let see what gonna happen
